Recently I took up the hobby of napping as a solution to my constant exhaustion. However, I am a horrible napper. Truly awful. I waddle around all morning long pretending to be productive - which is a polite way to say craving everything that is not my apartment and then cleaning in frustration - and by the time I finally fall asleep on my quest for a little R&R, it's after 4. As I said three seconds ago, I am a horrible napper, so I usually stay passed out until JL comes home from work or class, but only if he's in the mood to wake me up. The other day I woke up around 6:30 and he was just calmly sitting in front of his computer working on school stuff.
My mother is a professional napper. That woman can get 'er done. In bed, napped, and back on her feet in under an hour every day. A precision napper. I marvel daily over her ability to tune out the world at her choosing. I yearn to learn how to be productively unproductive.
Any advice?
Either calming music while laying in bed or doing soduko while laying in bed. also concentrate on taking deep breaths, well as deep as you can and then exhaling for 10. it helps slow your body down so you'll get to sleep faster. also, nap at the same time everyday then your body will get in the habit of napping at that time and it will come easier.
